The Bharatiya Bailgada Racing Association is a registered Section 8 Company (Non-Profit Organization) dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and professional improvement of the traditional sport of Bailgada Sharyat (Bullock Cart Racing) and, critically, the development and welfare of the magnificent Indigenous Bulls Breed.
Bailgada Sharyat is more than just a race; it is a centuries-old cultural tradition of Maharashtra, symbolizing the farmer's deep bond with his cattle and celebrating the strength and beauty of the indigenous Khilar breed. Our goal is to ensure this heritage thrives in a structured, safe, and world-class environment.
The Project: A State-of-the-Art Training and Racing Complex
To realize our mission and set a new standard for the sport and animal welfare, we are embarking on a crucial project: the establishment of a fully-equipped Training Center and Professional Racing Track.
This complex will provide:
- World-Class Racing Track: A professionally designed track for safe, fair, and exhilarating competition.
- Scientific Training Center: Facilities for scientific training, conditioning, and preparation of the Indigenous Bulls, prioritizing their health and peak performance.
- Veterinary & Research Unit: A dedicated unit for breed improvement, health check-ups, and specialized veterinary care for all Indigenous Bulls associated with the sport.
- Community & Education Hub: A place to educate farmers, enthusiasts, and the public on ethical care, breed preservation, and the cultural significance of the sport.

As a registered Section 8 Company, all donations made to the Bharatiya Bailgada Racing Association are eligible for tax benefits as per the provisions of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
